Our Story

eco: from the Greek word "oikos", house, household

ripe: (of fruit or grain), developed to the point of readiness for harvesting and eating

Ecoripe Tropicals is an organization of professionals dedicated to the distribution of quality fresh tropical produce for our local, regional and national markets.
Founded in 2004 in South Florida, our actions are rooted in our original core vales of:

Service: To meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and vendors
Integrity: To base all our actions on honesty and professionalism

Today, we operate a PrimusGFS Food Safety certified refrigerated distribution warehouse in Medley, Florida, are certified USDA Organic Handlers, and are members of the Produce Blue Book, Produce Marketing Association, and Southeast Produce Council. Ecoripe Tropicals is dedicated to serve as a catalyst of success for our farmers, customers, workers, and our community.
